СММ-1СO plant for cable oil preparation
Cable oils fill high-voltage cables. They insulate a conductor and remove heat from it. In their functions cable oils are similar to transformer oils. But the requirements for cable oils (their content of moisture, dissolved gases and mechanical impurities) are significantly more stringent.
Oil-filled cable lines require constant support of oil pressure and regular oil-filling at cable joints. Oil filling should compensate the shortage of oil resulting from leakage and sampling, and is performed by the pressure tanks.
Oil facilities servicing oil filled cable lines must have an appropriate equipment: oil storage tanks, degassing units and oil regeneration (cleaning) units, oil filling for cable terminal units.
Intended use of CMM-1CO plant
GlobeCore CMM-1CO is designed for degassing, dehydration and cleaning of cable oils from mechanical impurities. The technical characteristics of the equipment and the parameters of treated oil are listed below.
